Our Story
From Military Service to Home Performance Excellence
Our founder's journey from military service to building science began with a simple realization: most contractors treat symptoms, but families deserve solutions that actually work.
After years of military service where precision, systems thinking, and mission accomplishment were non-negotiable, our founder was frustrated by the home improvement industry's approach. Contractors would add insulation without sealing air leaks, install bigger HVAC systems without addressing humidity problems, or recommend expensive solutions without understanding how building systems interact.
That's when we discovered building science—the systematic approach to understanding how homes actually work.
Through rigorous training and certification with the Building Performance Institute, we learned that homes are complex systems where every component affects every other component. Air sealing makes insulation work. Proper ventilation prevents humidity problems. Understanding pressure dynamics eliminates dangerous gas infiltration.
We founded Full Home Comfort to bring this scientific approach to Texas families who deserve better than guesswork.
